For Christmas we got our kiddo the used iPhone 5C they'd been begging for. Unfortunately, they didn't use it as responsibly and appropriately as we hoped. We want them to have a phone for emergencies and to call relatives and a few select friends so we're looking for something bare bones with no data and if possible, no text or photos. Ideally, we'd use the phone they have now but I'd pay for a cheap flip-phone or something if it meant having better control of how they use the phone. Any suggestions on bare-bones phones or cheap plans with good parental controls?
