So I love the way our bed frame looks but I hate the slats and how low it is. I want to use a boxspring instead of slats for some height and more support/stability.The slats aren't the lay flat kind from ikea, they are the ones that "snap in" to plastic brackets and into the frame itself. Would I be able to take the brackets out, removing the slats, and use a boxspring instead?Forgive me if this is the most asinine question, I know zero about bed frames and thought this community may have the answer.
