Here in upstate NY, I am building a small walkway with some beer bricks off Craigslist. First time doing so and I have the correct depth excavated, 2-3 in of CR1. Next I am putting on concrete sand from HD - stuff that doesn't "set". Why is it OK to use this vs masonry sand which is usually used for patios?
