Not really a fake.wall dont know why I call it that a timber frame feature wall.My untouched overall wall length is 189 inches horizontally but the door is in the far right corner and is 40 inches wide.So I'm left with 149 inches.feature wall will be 63 inches wideSo ive been taking away 63 inches from 149 and from that I'm getting my positioningBUT . It it just doesn't look right it looks squished in. I've altered my calculations by adding in the door width and doing my previous calculation method but it's too close to the door.I dont want to wing it and go by visually guessing. Alot of work will be going into it. Slate mosiac, custom hearth and a solid oak mantel etc so want it to be solid.Any advise ? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2rj1XML
