I've had the same MacBook Pro since 2012, and it's been great, up until recently anyway. I had to replace the logic board last month, and this week it seems as though the battery has died. Thankfully Apple replaced the logic board for free (would have cost £400+) but this battery replacement will probably cost £180. If I need to pay that I will, but I reckon these things are designed to die at a certain time. Is it worth keeping it and dealing with potentially more costly repair or should I bite the bullet and replace it?
