Holy cow - My expectations were blown away! Aldi was a bit of bizarro world with everything looking like American name brand stuff, same look, same design, just different names - and lower prices. It was like Ikea for food!
I'm completely down with the quarters in carts and bagging your own groceries, and the lines move FAST!
Winco felt like Sams Club without the bulkiness. Didn't realize how cavernous it was on the inside.
We spent $200 and it looked like about $350 worth in the back of the car from Walmart!
So help get up to speed here please:
Aldi for milk, eggs, staple goods, random european trinkets like bowls that pop up...
Winco for deli meats, more name brand stuff, bulk candy?
What's your "go to" set up?
I've got that "too good to be true" feeling a bit right now, and damn I've been wasting money at Walmart :/
