I have just built a shed / woodshop / garden shop that is 120ft2 enclosed (it will be cosy for sure). There is no attic, just 7' tall walls straight up to the rafters (w rafter ties & collar ties in between).Summers get 106F and winters -5F. I have a window AC unit in the wall (at least a hole cut for it... install some time soon). I have read a lot about insulation and th e air channel needed bewteen sheething & insulation for winter climates, but not much about if this is needed in such a small area or in barely heated spaces.I dont intend to use a heater much if at all in the winter (i like the cold) but i do intend to AC the crap out of it when temps are over 90F.35deg slope on the roof if that matters. Not worried about ice dam weight since i over engineered the heck out of this (2x6 rafters 16OC, w rafter ties/joists and collar ties). But i am worried about moisture damage to walls / roof. Thanks yall! And here is a pic for err.... reasons? http://ift.tt/2rxFxo3: does a tiny shed / woodshop with no attic and minimal heating expected but lots of cooling..... need proper venting under roof sheething and above insulation? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2t3obBz
