I created this portfolio based on what I would do if I had 20k to invest in the market at the time. Given that I was in university, it wasn't practical to actually invest that amount, and certainly arguments can be made that investing real money is much different than fake money.
Nevertheless, I thought this community may find the basket of stocks I picked to be interesting. I tried to create some diversity, although I did weight it more towards the industries I understood well (tech). There were several value plays on stocks that had been hit hard (I'll let you guess which ones...), as well as some balance towards blue chips.
This was essentially a set and forget portfolio. I would have been more active with it had it been real money, and hopefully attempted to catch some of the bankruptcies (but at the same time, may have sold some of the winners prematurely).
