Starting last year, I decided that I wanted to go back to school in an attempt to get another degree in a more thriving field (I graduated with a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism in 2015). I finished the first Fall 2016 semester just fine and started in January for the Spring 2017 semester.
A little less than halfway through the semester, I dropped down to part-time, then eventually stopped going to classes all together (I know, very stupid but I was dealing with some mental health issues). So the semester ended and I was given a bill from the school since they refunded my loans back to the gov't. Unfortunately, I had used up my loans paying rent and now have no way of paying the $3500 I owe the school. I tried to sign up for a payment plan but my school won't let me if there's a hold on my account (which there is because I owe that $3500). I also tried to get a private student loan during the school year to cover things, but the school wouldn't accept it if I wasn't going to classes (which I couldn't just go back to because I had missed so much at that point).
I've got a 40 hour/week job now, but between that money and my current credit card debt (another bunch of bad decisions from these past few months), I don't know how I'm going to be able to pay back the school quickly and I'm worried they'll send the account to collections if I can't pay it all off in one lump sum.
I don't know what to do really and am looking for advice. Any would be really appreciated, thank you.
TL;DR: Owe school lots of money after I stopped attending classes, not sure how to pay back properly.
