For the first time I'm moving out on my own into an unfurnished place. I have no actual home items (bed, linens, kitchen wares, furniture, decor) and so I'm starting from scratch.
I want items that, while maybe not BIFL, are not flimsy particleboard and plastic messes from WalMart. I'm considering IKEA,but have never owned anything from there. Is it a nice middleground where I can get quality items?
I intend to get a lot of things at thrift shops, but when it comes to buying new, what vendors will give a quality product without outrageous prices?
