I've been spectating on NEOS based on hype I had seen (mostly in /r/robinhood).
People were counting on the latest drug to be approved, and the average target price, according to finviz, was 17. So people were buying yesterday at 9 or even more. After hours the good news came in, but instead of jumping, today NEOS is struggling to stay above 8.
I'm a noob, but I assume this was probably started by profit takers and followed by panicked speculators? Other reasons for this?
I guess my real question is whether NEOS is worth an investment since I wouldn't be a day trader worried about making a return tomorrow. How do you go about DD on a stock that has negative EPS, but something brand new ready to go? Are these target prices based on anything real?
