I've been looking extremely thoroughly for a long time for a desk that has everything I needed: foldable, and with a pull out keyboard tray large enough for my midi keyboard. Finally I've realized no such desk exists and therefore I need to make it.I found the perfect folding desk, this one. Since the top "desk" area is detachable, it might be possible to add the pull out tray. This is why I need experienced DIYers help!My keyboard needs about a 3.5" clearance, but as you can see, there appears to be a bar with some sort of joint taking up about 2" on the underside, to I would need to add some sort of extension to give me about 5.5" gap between the bottom of the desk and the pull-out tray. This is my question: anybody know how I would do this?Second question: because the nature of the desk is mean to be taken apart, the tray itself must ultimately be detachable. is this also possible?Last question: it is important that the top of the desk remain flush and there are no protruding screws of any kind so as to prevent scratching my other equipment (mainly my laptop).Any ideas how to add this tray will meeting these requirements? Links to specific products I could buy would be extremely helpful! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sEVHwE
