I have a quick question. I've seen in here people attempting to lever a S&P500 holding. They have some crazy ideas to do it, like credit cards. My question is why go through the trouble when you can instead build a high beta portfolio? Wouldn't that have the same effect as leverage? I'm guessing this is something people do, but I haven't heard of it.
