Tl;dr, somebody converted the back of an old house into a studio apt. and I rented it. I have a bedroom and bathroom and that's pretty much it. I do have a microwave. I don't have a place to drain or whatever (except the yard.)
What should I get that's not too expensive to substitute? I've thought of getting some kind of portable burners or a food processor or something so I can make more stuff from scratch. Then, I'll also always have it, which in my high COL area isn't irrelevant. I don't know how many of my friends are cooking in their bathrooms or whatever.
