New to r/finance
I imagine this post might need to be moved to another sub. I apologize, Reddit noob.
Just turned 29. Two years ago an accident almost killed me, left me with 5% chance to keep my hand. I was a smart home programmer. Slightly bad credit at this point, should've fell off by now with the exception of 20k in hospital bills. This was a complete reset, lost everything, moved in with parents, etc.. They told me I would get 15-35% use of my hand, best case scenario. For a year and a half I couldn't use my hand. Here today, sitting around 90-95% dexterity, but I can't feel much with my left hand. Six months later and I'm working, installing alarm systems. A bad week is 1200$. Get paid weekly. I will make 80-110k within a year from today, as long as I hold the job. First "real" check hitting Friday, $1500. Probably 400 going out immediately. Renting car atm, 1k/mo. Can't finance a car at any big institution, child support owed. Will put 60k miles on my car in a year. I get $0.44/mile.
Current situation, due to recent events I have a few outfits, a computer, and am crashing on a "friend's" sofa.
I'm prescribed Adderall, feel like I have to use it to get through my 15 hour+ days. Depressed (understatement), stressed (massive understatement), and running off nothing. I'm not eating well, at all. Stomach in knots. Nobody to talk to, no friends.
I need stability (roof, bed, car) ASAP. I need help... in so many different ways. Advice, guidance, etc. More than willing to "donate" to those who help me... I'm a smart guy, maybe :p. I simply don't have time to take care of anything, let alone research anything. My days off are spent sleeping 20 hours straight. I don't care about materialistic things. I just want to stay alive. I can't lose this job. I feel like I'm a shell of a person. Fortunately, I don't have time to think about anything but work. The more experience I get on the job the less hours I'll work... My hand injury slows me down a bit.
Please, Reddit, help. <3
(Sorry for the horrible sentence structure/grammar.... I'm exhausted and about to crash)
