Dear Reddit users,I am dying to make a hummingbird feeder at home that really works. My problem is I have beautifully painted several of those wine bottle feeders, purchasing the stopper online and the stopper always always leaks. I am a schoolteacher with a lot of craftiness, all sorts of paint including glass paint, copper wiring, a huge collection of wine and liquor corks just waiting to be used, a dremel etc.and a lot of summer time on my hands!! I am always allured by those beautiful glass and copper wiring feeders I see in the stores but they are also extremely expensive ...often the upwards of $40-80 both online and in my area for just one of them.I just wondered if anyone out there might have ideas on HOW I could possibly make my own stoppers...I wasn't sure if One could just buy glass tubing in small increments or if copper tubing is safe for outdoor use for the birds.Ideas?? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2rk428R
