Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place.
I work at a school district as an intern and we get paid monthly. Payday was last sunday, and I didn't get paid. Last monday I talked with the office coordinator and she said payroll never got my timesheet, I found my timesheet still in my folder so the office coordinator forgot about it and never sent it to payroll. I left it at that because i fell ill the rest of last week.
I came back today and inquired about it and was told I wouldn't get paid until the end of the month and they are acting like its my fault I didn't turn my timesheet in. I need to get paid so I can actually afford to get to work. Is there anything I can do?
