I'm having a difficult time understanding why the public is so bearish on US auto (Ford and GM). I believe Teslas is grossly overvalued (but that's a convo for another time). Yes, autonomous cars are the future and these companies are not leaders of that category, but ultimately I believe a F or GM (or both) is going bring an autonomous car to market. They have the infrastructure and can easily buy and implement the technology.
What am I missing?
