I don't have but a few misc sockets and related tools that I've purchased individually for specific uses over the past couple years. I don't own a car to work (car free) on, but I do occasional work on bikes, lawnmowers, and other stuff in my house. I've considered getting a decent $200 craftsman set, but I've noticed a $70 Kirkland branded set at costco that looks quite complete. What do you guys think of this as a starter set? If it's not up to par I figure I could give it away to a family member and upgrade eventually. I personally don't shop at sears, but I do have an ace hardware in town.
