I'm looking for the holy grail backpack. I'd like it to be fashionable (which I define as being understated, simple, timeless, "smart casual") but also practical (lightweight, water resistant, comfortable, some pockets). I'd like to use it for commuting to work, but also for short day hikes on weekends. I generally lean toward wanting natural materials (canvas, wool, leather) but am open to some synthetics if it looks good. I don't need a lot of space, maybe 20L give or take.

No GoRuck or Tom Bihn, though I admire their quality.

This is the closest I've come, but it doesn't seem to have quite enough space. This is on the more formal end of my spectrum, but still great since it has the padding and seems comfortable. I'd also be okay with something a tad more outdoorsy, but not overly technical and something that can fit in in a casual work setting. http://ift.tt/2qsGtOa
