Idk why it's so hard to find a good fan!! Literally wish I could just move back to my parents house and have a nice ceiling fan again.
My first fan I tried was a vornado 660 (99$ fan) because from my readings online it was the most recommended fan of all time - and it did a good job of moving all the air in the room (including dust and giving me allergies) - but it had no cooling effect at all, and even with my AC running it seemed like a waste of money.
Returned it and got a lasko tower fan (2554, one of the best reviewed fans on amazon) - it looks nice and worked much better than the vornado, but it gave off this weird chemical smell, (with the ionizer on and off) and at first i thought it was just a new fan smell, but even after a week it would literally make me wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine!! fuck this fan!!
now i am thinking about ponying up for a dyson am07 - anybody know much about them? looks pretty nice, and seems futuristic with it's bladeless technology!
