I hate to make a seperate post to ask about boots, which is so common of a thread here, but I searched on the sidebar and didn't find anything about Iron Age/CAT.
I'm not looking for "pretty" boots, but I'd rather have a "clean" look to them -as in not made with 10 different fabrics, rubbers and materials and such- so they don't look weird under my jeans when I'm just out and about and not working. I've been looking at Iron Age boots ( Link ) and at a couple pairs of CAT CSA work boots.
I'm an artist- so these aren't getting crazy wear out on a rig or in a welding job for years or something- however, I am welding and metalworking in them. I'm working with an arc welder, some heavy amounts metal, some ceramics and kiln setup/ firing every day, and I need boots for the job- The studio I am working for requires they have a steel or composite toe to them.
