I have seen people with mixed feelings on this. Most people talk about emergency funds in an account, but that doesn't always help you if there is a natural disaster where phones and electrical are knocked out (an example is superstorm Sandy a few years ago).
Do you keep emergency cash on hand? Of so, how much?
