I don't want Amazon Prime. I don't watch TV, I don't play video games, access to 'deals' is just buying stuff I don't need, and I don't mind waiting for my purchases. Why do I have to be super vigilant every time I make a purchase or I end up getting signed up to this service? Then I have to call poor 'Stacy' who has to put up with my stupidity and the stupidity of thousands of others who have accidentally signed up.
Now I have the Chase Amazon card because 5% cash back is great. Oh wait, now you have to be a prime member to get the 5% so now it's just 3%. I would have to spend $5000 on Amazon per year to make that worth the cost of membership.
The company just makes me feel dirty. Seriously I feel less dirty using eBay and eBay is the epitome of sketchy. Even though the card is still a good deal, I'm considering canceling just on principal. I don't care if it dings my credit. They are relentless with their product and it has little to know real value. It just makes you spend more.
