Hi PF! I am posting on behalf of my mother, who recently left her job with her sister (they both worked together). My mother's last day was yesterday, and her sister has spoken to the former boss about getting their paychecks on their last day. Her former boss conveniently forgot her check book and told my mother she could stop by her house to get her paycheck. Later in the day, her former boss' husband told my mother to pick it up on Wednesday and that they have 'their own family time'. My question is, what can my mother do should the former boss not give her paycheck (and her sister's) this upcoming Wednesday? We have it in a text message that she should be getting the paycheck on Wednesday.
