Hey y'all,
So I recently turned 18. I decided to write this post because my situation is sort of unique. Not many 18 y/o's have this type of cash (not bragging). The way I made it is even more unique. I know it may be hard to understand, but I was able to amass the money playing online video game tournaments and creating online content. I know how it sounds lol.
So I guess my question is, now that I'm 18, what should I be doing with the money? I figure having it just sit there is pretty much useless. The interest on it something abysmal like .01%. My parents are supporting my college education fully, so that is not something to worry about. I have no expenses at all atm, still finishing high school living with my parents.
FWIW: My father is a great resource for investing help. He has a PhD in corporate finance and has been studying the stock market for >30 years. I'm sure he would help me if I asked (IF investing is the route to take).
Any help is greatly appreciated. Still trying to figure all of this out!
