There are often significant changes in stock prices that aren't obvious why they happened. It could be because of some news story, changes in analyst ratings, someone Tweeting something, random large transactions, etc.

For example, $UAL price didn't drop yesterday, even though the videos got released in the morning. This leads me to think that the price drop today may not be largely a result of the dragging man from plane news.

Another example is $SNAP and recently IPOed stocks in general. They sometimes move close to 5% a day, despite no new information being released.

What are some ways to figure out what caused the changes in a specific stock's price?
