I have been doing some shopping around for some short term investment opportunities (CDs, money markets, etc), but none seem too attractive due to early closing penalties or just plain bad rates of return.
I stumbled upon a deal through chase for a $150 bonus on deposit for a new savings acc. (after 3 months of maintaining the balance). Apparently there are a lot of these deals out there. Is it viable to deposit the minimum for the bonus, wait the grace period then transfer the balance to another acc.? Has any one tried this?
