Hello, I'm turning 32 and just now starting a Roth IRA. I make 40K/yr and don't see myself making a lot of money in the future. I'll probably deposit most of my savings ($4K) as I can get financial help from my parents if needed, feel like I'm really behind, and wish I had started one earlier. Also, I have $5K in student loans with an interest rate of 3.15%.

I'm thinking of Vanguard based on what I've read here but I've read elsewhere that they "offer a smaller selection of no-transaction-fee mutual funds and commission-free ETFs" than other companies. Does this matter? Thoughts about any of this?
