Just about everyone I ask is paying over $80+ a month (excluding phone morgage) for phone service with Verizon, T-Mobil or AT&T for unlimited talk, text and then maybe some get unlimited data with a speed cap or they have AT&T and pay per gigabyte. All of the major carriers have discount off brand name services that offer unlimited talk, text, and data for around $40 (except maybe Verizon). Competition only works if people are shopping around. If more people were, then prices would be forced downward across the board. Why is it when I tell people on AT&T who are paying $140 a month for two line and 8 gigs of data that they can which to Cricket which is the same network for $35-55 per line they just don't seem to care?
NOTE: I personally am on Sprint and pay $25 a month for unlimited talk, text and 1 gig data (only exceeded the data once).
