It's time for my husband and I to do some adulting and create a will as well as basic powers of attorney documents etc. We won't be creating a trust yet. I've been calling around to find a local attorney and so far the ballpark quotes are much higher than I was expecting. I've been quoted between 1,000 and 2,500. We are a family of 4 in South Carolina....any idea if these prices are on point and I need to raise my budget for estate planning?
