Here's the story: I'm a freelance web designer, and a few times a year, I also do photoshoots for clients. I had a pretty big client recently that required both of my services, including a photoshoot. This photoshoot, was on a larger scale which required me to rent gear.
So on the day of the shoot (3 days ago) I went to the location of the shoot (in front of a residence) and I brought along my gear. I rolled my case with my camera, and rental camera and lenses to the set (nobody there, my clients next door at the location setting up for next shot, models not here yet). Now, I go to the parking lot to get my light stands and lights, leaving my case at the location. I pick my lights up and come back, the case is gone.
I've filed a police report and called every pawn shop within a 20 mile area and nobody had anything. Also, I paid for the rentals with a debit card not credit card, so there's no protection there.
What other options do I have?
