I am currently in Canada and now have to move my family of 4 to another province for a job. It isn't far, but a ferry crossing is required. I have moved almost the same route before and rented a U-Haul to a cost of $700... now the price is over $2,200. This is insane ... we have a house full of furniture that needs to be moved and I'm looking to do this as cheaply as possible. Tips?
