Hi there, first time posting here. I hope I'm not breaking any rules. If so, please let me know. I've recently completed a renovation of my home. It's a semi detached, at least that is what we call it in Toronto. My neighbor is beside me, separated by a party wall. My question concerns sound deadening. I don't hear voices, just vibrations from the neighbors walking up and down stairs, and along the floor. The party wall is constructed with double brick wall, 3.5 inches of roxul safe and sound on my side, plus 5/8 drywall, and a second layer of regular drywall. I don't know what's on their side. I'd like to know what I can do, if anything, within my house to deaden the vibrations from the neighbor. And really only in one room. That room is about 250 square feet. Perhaps artistic acoustic panels on the wall? Do these even work? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly in advance. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pBRBYg
