Im visiting New York the weekend of April 22nd to work with a photographer, and I will have Saturday night and most of the day Sunday free to do what I want. We are staying near Stony Brook, but I really wanted to visit Manhattan. I want to avoid paying for much, and would prefer not to participate in milling crowds of people flocking to their favorite tourist traps. Any suggestions?
