Thanks to remindme bot, I am posting this a year later after using my Doc Martens boots for well over 60 hours per week in heavy use (lots of walking).
The leather: Because I treat it with lots of the doc martens wax stuff during winter, it's held up pretty good. Bet if I shined them up real nice they'd look almost new (leather wise)
The stitching: This hasn't held up very well. LOTS of fraying on it, even when I clean them nice the stitches look bad because of the fraying. I'd say my original (british made) Doc Martens' stitching looked like this after maybe 4 or 5 years.
The soles: The soles have held up incredibly well. Look great.
The insoles: Hasta la vista baby. Just a month in I removed them and put in some new doctor sholes gel inserts.
Only issues: One of the paper-like pieces near the rear near the heel of one boot has worn off. No big deal, can't really tell it's gone and I'm sure a good cobbler could fix that up anyways.
Overall, I am happy with the Doc Martens after one year and am highly confident I will get a few more years out of them.
