I plan on making ~120k a year, but a source tells me I should expect closer to 110 or 105. I don't know if I will accept anything under 110. What is the best way to say I feel like I deserve 120 for this position, but would be fine with 115? Should I just say I expect to be paid ___? The problem is that I have run my own companies for the last 5 years and, while I wasn't making 6 figures, it's a very different process and I feel like I shouldn't "just be paid more than my last job," because I got more than just my salary from the company I started (equity and stuff).
