Closing on an apartment in NYC. Despite being very frugal, already hemorrhaging money on non-negotiable costs. So: would you buy a washer-dryer off Craigslist? LG, current model, well-rated. I can test it in the seller's apartment but have no way to know if it has any problems (other than hoping they are honest). Thoughts?
