In 2012, I opened up a vanguard Roth IRA, and contributed to a Retirement 2050 account. When I log in, my account is called "<My.Name> -- Roth IRA". Last week, I opened a vanguard account on behalf of my wife so she can start contributing. I don't remember an option to get more specific, but after registering for what I thought was the same thing, her account Welcome screen says "<Her.Name>--Roth IRA Brokerage--<Account.Number>" What is the difference between what I have, and what she has? Is mine also a "brokerage", but isn't specifically named that due to some nomenclature change since 2012? I'm confused and don't want to seed her account with the minimum contribution until I'm sure it's what I want (just a normal Roth IRA, in which I can select a Target Retirement fund).
