Hi all, just bought my first house and am going over some projects. The kitchen has these terrible, old eyeball lights in the ceiling cans that I want to get rid of. The issue I'm running into is that while there are many of the "retrofit" LED down lights, the cans are so old that they don't have the brackets on the inside of the cans where the tension bars are meant to go. I talked with an employee at the Home Depot near me and he showed me a similar light with a different retention system, but the lights are almost 3 times as much as the ones with the tension bars. Do I have any other options? I'm not replacing the cans, that would defeat the purpose of looking for a solution for the ones I've got. Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mPyfes
