Beginner looking to invest here. Have recently done my reading about the P/E ratio. My question is, what's a high or low P/E? and to what they are compared with (high or low against what)? my assumption is that the comparison is made between the company's P/E ratio against the industry P/E ratio? and what's the repercussion of having high or low P/e ratio? thanks so much!
