I've done some research for a project I had been looking into-- building a collapsible longboard. The first material I have been looking into for building the deck was plastic. I've done some basic research, but can't seem to find any concrete facts about the different types of plastics and their behaviors(?).I'm looking for something that will support around 200-210 lbs of weight, has a small amount of flexibility and is durable enough for outdoor usage (commuting).Obviously, I'm a newbie to this sort of material, so I might be reaching by assuming there is a plastic that fits my specification. If that is the case, I'd really appreciate an idea of what kind of material I should be looking at, that hopefully, won't break the bank. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mlQoCK
