For those of you like me who have watched The Big Short way too many times know that in the end, it famously says that Michael Burry (the man who called the housing collapse) is now investing in water through water rights, and farmland (explained here).
My questions is - do you guys think this is bullshit or what? I don't like buying into conspiracy theories, and honestly thats what this seemed like, but if you think about it isn't it pretty straightforward? Water use is growing at twice the rate of the population, and we have an administration that isn't all that focused on humanitarian issues, so it doesn't seem like this issue is really going to be improved upon anytime soon.
Thoughts? This has probably been brought up before but its a developing discussion that changes with time.
