I make $13/hr at a full time job plus on call sometimes. I would say about $1100 dollars a month. My rent alone is $675, split between two people, so $340 for me. Utilities usually run about $70 a person. I owe about $3000 left on my shitty car only worth about that much and pay $170 a month for that. I pay $200 month for car insurance, my phone plan plus my phone I'm paying off are about $75 a month. After putting gas in my car, buying groceries, paying for other random necessary expenditures, I'm left with almost nothing at the end of each paycheck. What are some ways to make money on the side, without getting another scheduled job? Or, some ways to budget better? When I do the math I just don't find any wiggle room....I know my car is dragging me under but I don't know what to do about that? I absolutely have to have a car for work.
