Hi everyone.
I'm trying my hand at making my own maple syrup this year and I'm trying to find the most cost-effective food grade containers for the sap. I've seen many people use empty gallon water jugs from the supermarket, and that definitely seems like the cheapest option.
The only problem is that I don't want to be wasteful. What could I do with all of that water instead of dumping it out? Are there any other cheap options that don't result in me wasting so much?
