So I know some of their business practices have a quite bad reputation and yes, they've done some unethical things, but why is this sub always so negative about them?
At the same time these same people would happily invest in US stocks such Phillip Morris, Core Civic, Haliburton etc which I think are far more unethical.
I mean as an investment it's pretty solid, it's been around forever and is part of the 'dividend aristocrats'. But I've seen so many people take any swipe they can and say nothing good about it. "I'd refuse to invest for ethical reasons", or "its stagnant", "its p/e is too high". Do you just not like to invest in it because it's not a US company (currency risk etc)?
