I just became an accredited investor on Realtyshares and am going to sink some money into a few properties. I am trying to wrap my head about each of the investment types first before making that leap.

  1. From your experience do you gravitate to the 12 month maturities or longer span and have you had any losses?

  2. Any particular geographic area's that are good vs others that have been poor?

  3. Do you only choose 1st lien holder investments and how much do you typically invest per?

  4. Do you typically like the prefunded or non prefunded ones?

  5. Can someone explain these two types of categories? Are the debt's a company buying the house, rehabbing and selling or renting?
