This may be an unusual question but lets talk about storage. Normally you'd think a large plastic tote would be a BIFL item but are they? I have found that the typical storage totes, such as Rubbermaid and Sterilite work great but they suffer from one giant problem.
Here's the problem:
I buy a few toes for storage and a few months later when I need another one all the designs have changed. None of the new totes stack with the old totes, the lids are not interchangeable and the sizes and colors are all different. I can only assume they do this to encourage people buy all new totes every time they need a new one.
So what BIFL storage solutions have you found? I am looking for square (no or minimal rounded corners), clear plastic totes from a company that will not change the design for the next 20 years.
