Hello r/frugal! I am needing some tips and advice on saving some money by planning a funeral for someone on a super low income. I know cremation is the cheapest and most environmentally friendly way to go, but the plot was purchased in the 90's and is paid off. I know funeral homes are like car dealerships and try to nickel and dime you under emotional duress. What tips and advice do you have on saving some money by planning ahead?
