I currently have a pair of Georgia logging style boots that I purchased in the winter of 2013, and have worn then quite a bit since then. However, I have an issue with the quality to an extent. The eyelet hooks have been getting pulled out of the leather since the second year I have had them, and the comfort also disappeared around them as well. I've worn them doing concrete work and plumbing work, and they held up fairly well as far as I can tell, however I put many more miles on the farm in significantly more situations than I would doing the former two occupations. The boot needs to keep it's comfort and needs to be durable to the extent that the only replacing I should have to do is the laces and the sole at best, and they need to withstand barnyard acids, on top of everything else you could imagine being on a farm and ranch. I'm looking at a budget of $500 (US) dollars, because I REALLY want to get a great pair of boots. I live in rural Montana, so the only actual boot retailer out this way is Redwing, so online shopping is my only option AFAIK. Thanks!
